Peren, April 25 (MExN): A cadre of the Nikki Sumi group was reportedly apprehended near General Hospital Colony Athibung, Peren district on April 23.
As per a press release from PRO (Def) Kohima, based on a specific input, Security Forces in a joint operation with State Police apprehended the cadre and recovered one .32 pistol with magazine, two rounds of .32 live ammunition and one mobile phone.
The apprehended individual along with the recovered items has been handed over to Athibung Police Station, Peren District for further investigation, the release added.
