
DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 26 (MExN): “As one who aspires to be a responsible citizen and a true Christian, I, Mrs.N.Asangla, would like to tender a public apology to Miss Yangmaitola Chang , to the Chang Community, ENPUK, and all the concerned people”, stated a public apology issued by N. Asangla, Forest Colony, Kohima. Asangla in her public apology has confesses that she had “violated basic human rights and offended Christian and humane ethics by causing physical and mental trauma to Miss Yangmaitola Chang”. “My heart is full of regret and repentance for my inhuman actions. Though I cannot undo the grave mistake I have committed, I make a plea of pardon to Ms Yangmaitola Chang and her family, to the Chang community and ENPUK for this inappropriate treatment that I have meted out to Ms Yangmaitola Chang”, stated the public apology . Asangla also tendered an apology to Kohima Longjang Union and to the Kohima Ao union for the disrepute she had brought to the community. “I pray that forgiveness and pardon will be granted to me”, the apology concluded.
