RPP further updates on Tribal Ministry Schemes

Dimapur, November 23 (MExN): In what it described as Part-3 of the series on the Tribal Ministry Schemes, the Rising People’s Party (RRP) today said that projects amounting to Rs 32. 35 crore amount sanctioned by the Tribal Affairs Ministry for the various developmental projects pertaining to 2018-19.

In a press release highlighting the detailed status of the projects (see table), the RRP noted that most of the schemes were supposed to have been completed within 18 months and whereas only 3 schemes are deemed to have been completed.

“The RPP presumes that funds for the rest of the schemes have been siphoned off without work being done even if the department is claiming that works are ‘On-going,’” it asserted.

In this connection, the RRP further appealed “whistleblowers to report anomalies in implementation of the schemes” by verifying the nature of the projects.

For any further queries, the general public/whistleblowers may contact the party risingpeoplesparty@gmail.com, it added.
