DIMAPUR, MAY 13 (MExN): Special Education Teachers Association Nagaland (SETAN) has demanded immediate release of their pending salaries on or before May 17, 2016.
A press statement received from SETAN stated that despite the written assurance given by the concerned authority (IEDSS/RMSA) to release their salary within one-week time as on April 27, 2016, the concerned authority has been making “undue excuses and delay tactics in releasing the salaries.”
It also demanded that pending salary of 21 months should be released in one go and not in installment basis.
The association has warned of “own course of action” in the event of failure from the concerned authority to release their salary on or before the given date.
