Saint John’s High School students demonstrate their project during the science exhibition held at the school campus on October 13.

Dimapur, October 13 (MExN): Saint John’s High School (SJHS), Diphupar ‘B’ science exhibition was organised with the theme ‘science for peace and development’ at the school campus on October 13.
The event was graced by Jacob Yanthan, Managing Director cum Chief Executive Officer, Nagaland State Agriculture Product and Livestock Marketing Board (NSAPCMB). Addressing the students, Yanthan encouraged students to embrace science, emphasizing the importance of understanding it rather than mere memorization. He highlighted the value of both practical and theoretical learning.

Yanthan stressed that the school’s success relies on a collective effort, with students dedicating 40% of their effort to hard work and key qualities, parents providing 30% support in monitoring their child’s studies and needs, and the institution itself, including the Headmaster and staff, contributing the remaining 30% by offering their support and intervention.
The exhibition showcased 66 projects like Chandrayan-3, heart circulatory system, rain water harvesting system, Hydraulic JCB, Magical Tap, Air cooler, Solar and Lunar Eclipse, Vacuum cleaner, Drip irrigation, Hydroelectricity etc by approximately 280 students from classes 3-10.
The event was attended by parents, guardians, and well-wishers.
