Chizami emerge as women’s basketball champs

The 55th sports meet of Secheku Range Sports Association (SRSA) entered its 4th today at Tsupfume village under Phek district.
Chizami emerged the champions of the women’s basketball event after defeating Thetsumi in the finals.
In the first women’s football match, Losami village defeated Chizami village via tiebreaker 4-2. Thetsumi overpowered Zhavame in the second match via tiebreaker 3-1. Mesulumi defeated Razeba town 4-2 while Enhulumi beat Tsupfume 4-2.
In men’s volleyball, Enhulumi booked their semi finals berth after defeating Zelome 4-0 in the 1st quarter final played today. Thetsumi also entered semi finals after defeating Losa Tephe 3-1 in the second quarter finals.
Thetsumi and Mesulumi entered the finals in the men volleyball after registering wins in their respective semi final matches against Razeba and Zhavame respectively.
Meanwhile, Mesulumi defeated Chizami village in the first quarter finals of men basketball.
