Mon, April 24 (MExN): Nagaland Veterinarians’ Association in collaboration with Department of Animal Husbandry & veterinary Services observed World Veterinary Day in Mon at Don Bosco School, Tizit on April 24. 

Mon CVO, Dr V Rutsa in a press release stated that focusing on the theme, ‘Veterinarian response to the COVID-19 crisis’ and contributions made by vets for a healthier, wealthier society leading to better quality of life, Dr Manjan Konyak and Dr Gloria Ngullie shared their insights. 

Students of Class 9 and 10 along with teaching faculty attended the programme. Hands-out note and FAO infographics on general awareness and precautionary measures for COVID-19 in context of animal-human interface, livestock diversity, food loss and waste facts, milk facts, biodiversity for food and agriculture and beehive products were distributed.
