DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 24 (MExN): The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd. (TRIFED), in partnership with the Longleng District Administration, is organizing the 'Tribal Artisan Mela' as part of the “Marketing and Logistics Support for Promotion of Tribal Products in NER (PTP-NER)” initiative. This event is scheduled to be held at VDB Hall, Longleng Town on September 27.
In this regard, tribal artisans have been invited to actively participate in this event by presenting their product samples, along with necessary documents such as ST certificate, Aadhaar card, bank passbook copy, and passport size photograph. This participation will enable them to become affiliated with TRIFED for enhanced market access. Furthermore, a travel allowance of Rs 500 will be provided to each tribal artisan, with the funds being deposited directly into their respective accounts, a DIPR report stated.
