Dignitaries with students during the closing programme
Phek, March 16 (MExN): A one-month free mathematics coaching class for HSLC candidates under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao concluded at Government Higher Secondary School, Phek on March 16.
This programme was initiated by District Administration & DLCW- Mahila Shakti Kendra (BBBP), Phek with an aim to boost the confidence of the students appearing the HSLC Examination 2021.
Gracing the closing function, Razouvolie Dozo, Deputy Commissioner Phek encouraged the students to cultivate the habit of hard work and mentioned that there is no substitute to hard work. He also stressed on the misconception of students finding difficulty on maths subject which can be overcome through dedication and hard work.
Wetsho Lasushe, EAC Phek, chaired the program while prayer for HSLC appearing student was pronounced by Rev Nuvosai Vese, Pastor Bible Hill Baptist Church, Phek town.
The programme was followed by experience sharing on behalf of students by three students namely: Dekholu Vese of Bishop Abraham Memorial School, Benjongsunep Walling of Holy Care School Phek and Chitso of Royal Foundation School.
On behalf of teachers, Kezevituo Chielie and Ashok Kumar of Government Higher Secondary School Phek shared their coaching experiences. Altogether, 200 students availed the coaching class.
The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Vilenuo Kapu, Women Welfare Officer, DLCW-Mahila Shakti Kendra, Phek.
