Nagaland: 267 new cases, 3 new deaths

DIMAPUR, MAY 6 (MExN): The increase in COVID-19 cases in Nagaland continued as the State reported 267 fresh cases on May 6. Three new deaths due to COVID-19 were also reported.

The new cases include 130 from Kohima, 117 from Dimapur, 7 each from Mokokchung and Tuensang, 2 each from Phek and Zunheboto, and 1 each from Longleng and Mon.  

Meanwhile, 38 new patients have recovered from the infection. They include 21 from Dimapur, 9 from Kohima, 7 from Tuensang and 1 from Mon.

The number of active cases in the State is now 2,245. While the total caseload of the State so far is 15,271 a total of 12,428 patients have recovered. The number of deaths due to COVID-19 has meanwhile increased to 111.
