Second annual report of Nagaland Lokayukta tabled

On the fifth and last day of the 7th Session of 13th NLA, Chief Minister and Minister in-charge of Finance, Neiphiu Rio moved the Nagaland Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Bill and the Nagaland Appropriation (No.1, No. 2, No. 3) Bill 2021 and passed the Bills.

The CM also laid down annual administrative report copy of the following departments for the year 2020-21: Department of Finance, Department of Justice and Law, Department of School Education, Personnel & Administrative Reforms Department, Information and Public Relations Department, Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection, Department of Technical Education.

He also tabled a copy of second annual report of the Nagaland Lokayukta (January 2020 to December 2020), State Finances Audit Report of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India for the year ended 31st March, 2019 (Report No. 1 of 2020), Finance Accounts (Vol- l & Vol-ll) 2018-19.

Copies of the annual administrative report of the Department of Power, 2020-21, Transport Department, 2020-21, Department of Rural Development, 2020-21, Department of Social Welfare, 2020-21, Nagaland Public Works Department, Works & Housing, 2020-21, Department of Soil & Water Conservation 2020-21, the Department of Geology & Mining, 2020-21 and the Department of Higher Education, 2020-21 were tabled.

Member and Chairman of the Committee on Subordinate Legislation (2020-21), Dr Imtiwapang Aier presented a copy of the following reports: Sixty Second and Sixty Third Report on the Nagaland Agricultural Produce Marketing (General) Rules, 2006 (62nd Report) and Nagaland State Biological Diversity Rules, 2012(63rd Report), 64th Report on Nagaland Information and Public Relations Service Rules, 2013, 65th Report on the Nagaland Government Printing Press (Technical) Service Rules, 2015.

Member and Chairman of the Committee on Estimates (2020-21), Pukhayi Sumi, presented copies of the following reports: 141st Report on Action taken on the Observation/Recommendations contained in the 136th Report of the Committee on Estimates Pertaining to Technical Education Department (State Technical Scholarship & Minority Scholarship), 142nd Report on Action taken on the Observation/Recommendations contained in the 137th Report of the Committee on Estimates Pertaining to Public Health Engineering Department (Rural & Urban Water Supply), 143rd Report on Action taken on the Observation/Recommendations contained in the 139th Report of the Committee on Estimates Pertaining to the Transport Department (Motor Vehicles Department & Nagaland State Transport).

Supplementary Demands for Regularisation of Excess Expenditure for the Year 2012-2013, 2013-2014 and Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2020-21 were passed by the House.
