•-By and large the general students from Government high school after getting the worst result shows no sign of heart break appearance but parents are seemingly stunned. This year also the result must have caused consternation for all parents after having shattered their dreams.
The pathetic condition of Gove High School at Kiphire where many students carrier have been spoilt shattering parents dream has a peculiar history repeated time and again for which responsibility has to be owned by students, parents teachers and government authority.
Perfunctory nature of maturity students with frivolity with no sense of discipline and obedience is liable to irk the teachers. Teachers should intrigue the students but they deserve respect in at least which is always lacking. I had a chance to interact with the students when an awareness campaign was conducted on HIV/AIDS. There I got a chance to tell the students the importance of obedience, respect and persistent work if one has to be successful in academic carrier.
You will be dumbfounded if you see the ordeal that from 2nd period onwards, the students keep gossiping without attending the classes and from 3rd period onwards hardly any students will be seen in class. I have seen on many occasions as my residence is near the school that authority tries to control them strict but it is only for a day and same things continue again from the nest day. School authority restrains use of force for fear of students’ violence as it happen in the recent past.
Perhaps parents are not aware of the diabolic activities of their children leaving aside their primary duties to learn. Many parents attribute bad result to wrong teaching method, incompetence of teacher but truly speaking almost all the student of private schools are taking tuition from these government High school teachers and their result are always good. I have been told the class room of higher classes are always full of mobile ringing noises and student freely talk with friends from inside class with less care of teachers and disturbing the class.
Mobile phones are not necessary for student in same locality rather it may be detrimental for study and carrier of the student. Let us try to control the menace for which co-operation among school authority parents and student leaders is necessary and rescue these vulnerable students before they succumbed to the environment shattering the parents dream.
Merely prevention from cheating during examination without changing the environment will be futile. Trying to control the environment in frantic way will be ludicrous which may bring wrath among students.
