Deliverance Breaking Yokes, Finding Freedom

The concept of “Deliverance” is needed in this contemporary period. Deliverance means being set free or rescued. In the spiritual context, deliverance means being freed from demonic influences, bondage/ oppression (feeling stuck, trapped or stagnant), bad habits or influences that pull you down. The concept of “Deliverance ” was prevalent during the times of Jesus Christ and continues to prevail even today through anointed vessels of God.  Jesus Christ not only preached the “GOOD NEWS” or the “GOSPEL” wherever he went, but also delivered people from sudden oppression that seemed to hold tight like a grip and healed people wherever he went, such as people with unclean spirits, demonic influences in their life and healed people of various diseases. This highlights that in the presence of the “Anointing of God”, nothing evil can withstand God's power.

There are many believers in the world;  they attend church services, but some of them have some form of demonic oppression in their lives without being aware of it. So it is a really pitiful thing that they’re not aware unless they recognise or come to the sense that something in their lives doesn’t seem to progress or elevate.  Here, we see that “recognition” plays a crucial role. When we recognise that sign, that is when the agenda of the dark kingdom gets exposed, and it's an assurance that God will deliver us from any form of afflictions and impediments.

Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age…”(NKJV)

People around the world carry with them the yokes that wear them down. The yokes here mean burdens of different weights that they carry, which they believe will be with them forever, but here’s the “GOOD NEWS”.ISAIAH 10:27 assures us that “the yokes shall be destroyed because of the anointing ”(KJV).

Moreover, deliverance for some people would be instant and for some, layers of deliverance are needed ( step- by- step) where the anointing is flowing. This does not imply that God loves the other person more. Many times, it means God is purposefully choosing to heal and deliver you over time, in a process, for His perfect purpose (Apostle Kathryn  Krick). Through the videos that I’ve watched from several Apostles. You may be wondering, “Apostles?? Didn’t Jesus have only twelve apostles?” Here’s the truth: Ephesians 4:11-12(KJV) says that “And he gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers;….” So after watching from Apostles of God ( like Apostle Daniel Adam, Apostle Kathryn Krick, etc.), the concept of “Deliverance” was known to me. I’ve seen testimonies where people who were diagnosed with various psychological problems like anxiety, stress, eating disorders, etc. doesn’t seem to go away even after having counselling sessions. It was when they sought God and God intervened in their lives, and they were fully transformed and were delivered. God chooses his vessels through whom His anointing would flow to deliver and heal the sick and the oppressed. However, what is required of us is “Faith ”. It is faith that pleases God (Hebrews 11:6). In the Bible, there was a woman who bled incessantly; she went to take medications, sought help from the doctors, but they said nothing could be done. It was only because of her faith that she was healed! Other factors include positioning yourself where the anointing is flowing, to love God; to love God means to obey and keep His commandments (John 14:15).

Furthermore, the journey of deliverance leads believers into a deeper experience of inner healing and restoration. Many individuals carry emotional wounds, trauma, rejection, fear, and bitterness from past experiences, which often become entry points for oppression. God, in His compassion, desires not only to set us free but also to heal these hidden wounds. Psalm 147:3 assures us that God “heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Through the ministry of deliverance, God restores identity, renews the mind, and revives the spirit. People who once lived in despair, confusion, and hopelessness begin to walk in joy, peace, and clarity of purpose. Deliverance also empowers believers to live victorious Christian lives, equipped with spiritual authority and discernment. As they experience freedom, they become testimonies of God’s grace and power, inspiring others to seek Him earnestly. In this way, deliverance is not only personal but also missional, as transformed lives become instruments for God’s glory. Ultimately, deliverance reveals God’s heart of love and mercy toward humanity, showing that no chain is too strong, no burden too heavy, and no situation too impossible for Him. Through Christ, every believer is called to walk in freedom, wholeness, and abundant life.

Through this write -up, I want to encourage everyone that if you are living a life where you are believing the lies (of the devil) that you will not progress, you will not be delivered, healed, it’s high time that you put a complete full stop on those thoughts as we can be set free from it through the power of God and that’s the “GOOD NEWS” to all his believers as “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible ”(Matthew 19:26). God bless you all!
